Witham pollution

Fish Legal is representing the Boston and District Angling Association following the devastating pollution of around 50km of rivers “from Bardney to the Wash” by Omex Agriculture Ltd in March 2018. The pollution killed over 100,000 fish including those within the club’s stretch on the River Witham. On first attending, the Environment Agency (EA) concluded a fish rescue was futile as all fish life was already dead. The EA referred to this as “the largest river pollution incident ever recorded in Lincolnshire”.
