Clyde inshore fishery

Robert Younger of Fish Legal is an active member of the Clyde 2020 group convened in 2014 by then Cabinet Secretary Richard Lochhead to bring improvements to the Firth of Clyde. Despite clear scientific advice showing that the damaging Nephrops trawl fishery is suppressing the recovery of white fish populations the Scottish Government is refusing to put in place to restrict this fishery. RY is to submit a petition to the Scottish Parliament calling the Scottish Government to put in place the necessary measures to allow recovery of fish populations.
